An hourly position which involved deconstruction and reconstruction of fixtures, stocking shelves, lifting and moving parts, and some painting.
Remodeling Associate Job Description
It is not complicated; when the store wants to remodel, it hires temporary employees for the space of a few months, and they take care of the unskilled labor aspects. The job is typically done at night, and involves attaching rollers to shelf fixtures so they can be moved, dismantling and constructing fixtures, lifting and moving supplies like tiles, as well as some shelf stocking, cleaning, and painting.

WalMart Interview Questions
The interview was very short and very easy. Essentially, I was only asked my name and other personal information, why I was looking for the job, and whether or not I was able to meet the physical requirements. After that, it was a sure thing.
The working conditions were indoors with air conditioning, typical of any Wal-Mart store. There was a good team spirit among employees, although the managers did not seem to care about the crew's needs, often asking the impossible and getting angry when it couldn't be completed. Nevertheless, there are worse jobs.
There is a lot of heavy lifting, little to no sitting, and high strength requirement, as is necessary when, for example, two people are trying to move a vending machine with no special equipment. This is not a job for people who can only tolerate working at a desk.
