WalMart Interview Questions

I had to take a test asking several questions on what I would do in certain situations. I would call it a generic interview.

Working Conditions

The working conditions could get very stressful. When you stop individuals for shoplifting they could become very irate and it could be hard to calm them down. Other times if the store was slow then it could be hard to walk around a store for 8 hours at a time and try to stay focused. Hours had to be varied and you had to work holidays so you would have to be flexible. You met all kinds of people because you where never in just one department!

More on Salary and Benefits

I received $8.00 an hour starting off and after 2 years I was making $11.15 an hour. After 90 I was eligible for Health Insurance and 401 K.

Physical Requirements

You had to be able to walk for 8 hours at a time and there could be times that you might get in physical altercations.

Other WalMart Job Information

This is a very exciting job. It gets your adrenaline going when you are about to stop someone for shoplifting.
