Marshalls Merchandise Associate, in East Providence, Rhode Island

Merchandise Associate Job Description

Basically at the beginning of your shift you are given a department to cover (Men's & Kid's/Women's/Domestics/Shoes). During a shift you are expected to be on your feet at all times, returning merchandise to the proper location, getting frequent price checks, and answering any phone calls for your department. You will be asked every and any question in your department, will frequently have to babysit the customer's children, and at times the stress level is definitely alittle much for a minimum wage job.

Marshalls Interview Questions

I wouldn't have done anything different, it's a Marshall's store so dress neatly but don't over-do it by any means.

Salary and Benefits
Salary - Marshalls, Merchandise Associate is $8/Hourly.
Part Time - No Perks.

Working Conditions
I did feel safe, however at times you do feel as though you are working at a giant yardsale with so many mix/matched items and many items you know should not even be on the sales floor in their curret condition.

Physical Requirements
On your feet, at all times. Running from one end of the store to the other, your whole shift.
