Hilton, Front Desk Agent Job Review and Interview Questions
Rating by Hilton Front Desk Agent
I am a Front Desk Agent for the Richmond Hilton.
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Front Desk Agent Job Description: The job is absolutely easy. Unfortunately we do not get to sit like at some hotels. But basically if you are good with computers and you are great have great customer service skills then this is a great job. What I like about this hotel is we get the same guests almost every week so you meet some really good people who give me all types of nice things including nice tips and dinner!

Bachelors DegreeHilton Interview Questions
I didn't really have a formal interview here. I applied at another hotel and they passed me on here so basically it was like when can you start and what time can you be here.
Working Conditions
The only terrible work conditions are it's freezing all year round inside and you work with a bunch of gossipers. Geeze, it's worse than high school here. If there is stress it doesn't come from the guest it comes from your co-workers.
More on Salary and Benefits
The salary. Well, my salary because I refuse to let anyone short change me will earn me about $24,000 a year. Benefits. What benefits. I have never hear anything about benefits here. It took me almost a year to find out that we could direct deposit our checks so I would have to wait until 2p to pick them up. As far as retirement I have requested info about a 401k plan about 6 months ago and they still have not gotten me anything.
Physical Requirements
Just standing on your feet. Every once in a while you might have to lift a heavy box but that's what the walkie-talkie and maintenance men are for!
Other Hilton Job Information
People should realize that you should just come to work and do your job stay out of other business and if someone confides in you feel privileged not say to yourself I can't wait to tell someone else in the office.
