Location: Pensacola, Florida
Cashier Job Description: I mostly work a 20-30 hour week with 7 hour shifts. My main duty at CVS is cashier and customer service. I ring up customers, process photo orders, and give customers assistance. I also work Truck day where you unload all the merchandise and stock the shelves. I also work in the stock room putting up the "extra" merchandise called overstock.

Interview at CVS was fairly simple questions about past jobs and questions about how you would handle customer issues. It lasts only 20 minutes. My manager is a good manager and runs a store well but is also laid back and fun to be around so that makes you comfortable during a nervous time.
Working Conditions
Fairly easy conditions to work in. Except for truck day where you will be lifting a lot. A lot of standing during the shift.

I have an A.A. degree and get paid $8.00. I get paid more than the clerks than been there over 2 years. I have vision and dental benefits. Part-time employees are offered health insurance, 401K, stock, and other great benefits.
Physical Requirements
At CVS Pharmacy you must be able to stand up for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds. Be able to keep composure when a customer gets upset.
