Kindergarten Teaching Jobs Overview
Job Description
Kindergarten teaching jobs require a little bit teacher, a little bit mother, and then some babysitter. The first years of school for most students is exciting, and that excitement is poured out into many different emotions that children typically emit. This rollercoaster we call Kindergarten takes a special person to teach. On one hand the teacher is required to install the foundations for the child's remaining education while on the other hand the teacher must do it delicately.
Salary
Kindergarten teaching jobs pay similar to all other elementary school teaching positions. The salary range is $43,580 to $48,690 according to the Unites States Department of Labor. Generally all teachers receive full benefit packages, state retirement plans, and enjoy summers off. Individual teachers that pursue masters degrees can find their salary higher than if not.
Job Requirements
Kindergarten teaching jobs require a bachelor's degree in all states. While each states licensing boards and teacher certification is different, the general requirements are the same. Some private schools do not require bachelor's degrees. In fact, many schools do not require any formal education. However the salary is consistent with the lack of certification.
Teaching jobs are in high demand and will continue to be in high demand. The question remains whether or not you will be the person fit for the job.
