Job Description

Front end cashier, helping customers to ring up their items. Also taking care of the front of the store items, such as the gum, magazines, ect, it is the cashiers responsibility to make sure this area stays clean and up to par for customers.

Salary

Starting pay at Wal-mart is normally $8.00-8.50 depending on your experience.

Working ConditionsThis can be a very rewarding job if you are a people person, if you do not like to work with the community then this job would not be for you, I would say the majority of the time this job is very nice however, it can also be very stressful at times due to the fact you will always get one or a few unhappy customers.
Physical RequirementsStanding for long periods at a time.
Interview InformationWal-Mart takes you to the break room where there are about 15 people who are applying for the Wal-Mart Jobs, you will than take a short test on a computer, once you have completed the test you will be interviewed by a manager.
