| Job Description | Cashiers at Wal-mart- ring up customer orders, handle cash transactions as well as credit and check transactions, cleaning of our area, taking up left behind items. Cashiers are also responsible for making sure the aisle displays by their check out are cleaned and straightened. | |
| Salary | $9.50 an hour. Wages are basic on many factors, including previous experience and job title. They have a pay scale based on what part of the store you work in. | |
| Working Conditions | Management was horrible and only cared about making money and not on the customers or the way their employees were treated. The management would also take the smallest mistake, like not cleaning your area, and fire you for it. The company itself didn't care about the employees and the benefits took too long to get and then when you got them they weren't worth much of anything. | |
| Physical Requirements | Not much just have to be able to lift what customer's bring up to the checkout. | |
| Interview Information | Normal interview- you are interview most of the time by the actual main manager and then the manager over the area you want to work, once you get the job you have to come in for a day long paid orientation. | |
