Job Description

Customer service. You greet the customer as they come to the register. You take their drink order, get them their food if they want it. If it's busy, you work as a team to complete this. The bar drinks can sometimes be tricky to make due to the many varieties that people ask for. Steaming milk can be a challenge to get the right amount of foam. Being very polite and customer oriented and willing to work as team is extremely important.

Salary

The beginning salary was not that great, minimum wage. There are quite fast pay raises though. They offer training classes to work your way up the ranks, you just have to be motivated enought to do them. The tips you receive are also a nice bonus at the end of every day. The benefits are spectacular. Not only do you get an amazing health plan, you also get free coffee! You get one pound of free coffee a month, plus discounts on other merchandise. There is the Bean Stock and a retirement plan which the company matches what you put in.

Working ConditionsThe people I worked with were fantastic. You get the right amount of breaks and free drinks during your shift. The roles of everyone is switched up each day so it doesn't become monotonous.
Physical RequirementsYou need to be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time. You need to be able to move quick when it's busy. You also need to be neat and tidy in your appearance.
Interview InformationThe interview asks you lots of customer service questions. This is highly important as the company has high expectations for this part of the job.
