CareerLeak.com Launches New Site

Site Will Ease User Navigation

From the initial launch of CareerLeak in May of 2008 it was apparent that many features were lacking; site symetricism, ease of use, and relatively no interaction among users. CareerLeak.com, which focuses on Free Career Information through user generated Job Profiles found it necessary to launch a new platform in order to continue to grow.  In October 2008 CareerLeak began migrating from its current PHP database driven site to a standard Joomla powered CMS site.

Site Symetricism

The new site is symetrical from one page to another. Navigation is consistent throughout the site and there is a focus on CSS and consistent formatting. Features can and will be easily added and removed enhancing the user experience

Ease of Use

A core focus of CareerLeak's new site is on ease of use for the user. Users will find that companies can be researched by name rather than the old database search feature. This will give the users a better idea on what information is immediately available and reduce the time searching. Other changes include suggested links, a front page reading area, and overall ease of access through better navigation.

Interaction Among Users

People are constantly striving for more information. In this Web 2.0 world it is necessary to provide users with the ability to comment, ask and inform other users about the current topic.  In the future, CareerLeak plans to add forums and other community building applications.

CareerLeak continues to strive to provide unbiased, transparent career information.
